Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 spied testing

Those of you who are desperately waiting for the replacement of Lamborghini Murcielago might surely be delighted to see the face of new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The vehicle was spied testing and will debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Though it’s merely images and there is nothing known about the technical specs; however, spyshots definitely offer some insight into Lambo’s upcoming beast. The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 has adopted Audi R8’s aluminum spcaceframe chassis and carbon-fiber body shell. The styling cues for exterior are greatly influenced by the Reventon models and the Sesto Elemento concept. Also, the Aventador LP700-4 is expected to retain the mid-engine layout as well as a wheel base similar in length to a Murcielago.
Powering the new Lambo will be a new V12 engine built from the scratch, generating massive 700hp and 508 pound feet of torque. Engine will be mated to a new automated manual Transmission called ISR that reduces the shift time as one shifting rod moving out of one gear already engages the next. The gear shift time is 40% faster than the Gallardo Superleggera’s E-Gear, and that’s already incredibly fast. Further, the vehicle can be the first from the brand to be fitted with a hybrid powertrain, as well as fuel-saving engine stop-start and brake-energy regeneration technologies.
